In late 1993, the present owners, David and Cathy Sandlin, purchased the home and two lots. On 17 Wesley Street they added a carriage house and gazebo. They have since renovated the kitchen and upstairs bathroom, and added an additional upstairs bathroom. A deck and hot tub have been added to the back of the house along with a screened-in porch off the kitchen. An outside 50+ year old greenhouse was recently renovated into a work shed. The unique architectural style of the home, which features Federal, Greek Revival, and Italianate, sets it apart from its Victorian neighbors.
