This cozy cottage was built between 1910 and 1920 and believed to have been initially used as rental property. The home was completely renovated in 2019 when the Vogel family purchased the home from a real estate investor. They fell in love with the historic charm, tall ceilings, and wonderful neighborhood. The renovations included replacing the original plaster with sheetrock, new flooring, cabinets and counters, light fixtures and so much more. The original front door was restored and provides some of the old home charm amidst the new renovations. The wall between the kitchen and living room was opened up to create a bar top dining area and an open floor plan for the main living space. Eventually the family wishes to restore the original stained-glass windows and hang them from the cased opening in the kitchen / living room area. The home sustained fire damage in the attic at some point but unfortunately the fire department has no record of the fire.
